OPEN HOUSE

Every few years, the Kennedy Space Center has an
OPEN HOUSE for the families of the employees.
We are always excited to go out and see where DAD works!
This is the road he takes every day to work.
This is ATLANTIS on the Launch pad.
It will be the next shuttle launched.
Right now there are 2 shuttles out on the pads,
which is a little unusual. It will probably be the LAST TIME
that will happen. It was neat to see.

Another view of ATLANTIS

one of the 'crawlers' that carry the shuttles
to and sometimes from the pads.

This is ENDEAVOR on the other launch pad.
My dad has special feelings for ENDEAVOR.
He worked on this one when it came to the Space center
before it had flown in space. His fingerprints have flown in Space.

Wow, you have really been posting a lot! I showed my brother these pictures, especially the ones with the shuttles. He loves all this and wants to be an astronaut. Oh well, we'll see. But he says thanks for the pictures, they're great!

I am glad that you enjoyed the pictures. I can't say I have ever wanted to be an astronaut, but I do like the Space Program. It is neat to see how God made ALL things, and for God to show man who made it all.
