September Shorts

September has been a fast month. Todd and I are back in school now. We are still mowing, a lot. Todd's business is always busy. That is not bad, but it does keep us very very busy.

Here are some highlights from September. My mom and Bear have been sick. My mom has had the flu and has had a hard time getting over it. She is a diabetic and has a hard time getting over things. Todd and I have grown up hearing, "Don't make your mother sick". LOL Dad warned us over and over to not get her sick, because she doesn't get over it quickly. This month she has had a hard time getting over the flu. We are hoping that she is starting to get over it.

We have been working on a SHORTS FOR AFRICA project. We finally completed all the shorts on Monday night. Mom was ready for me and Todd when we got home from class. We spent the next few hours pulling drawstrings through shorts...LOTS OF SHORTS. We were done at 1 am.
Each pair of shorts, has a pocket on it that are the colors of the WORDLESS BOOK.

Todd and I were very loopy at this point. Everything made us giggle.

On our first night of class, my parents and Bear went to DIXIE CROSSROADS for dinner.
This restaurant is famous for their ROCK SHRIMP.
But we all love their.......

corn fritters!!!! Mom brought a whole box of corn fritters home
for me and Todd to have after class. They were soooooooooo good!

Todd preaching at the Nursing home one Sunday.

We are back in school which means it is back to taking tests.
We got our first test back this week.
I aced it! WHOO HOO!
Todd did pretty good... I just did better. :)
It has been a wonderful September.
I am looking forward to cooler weather
and a little less mowing!
