Sprucing up for Christmas

Today, my mom and I went to have our hair cut. While I was having mine cut, mom was texting her friend, and showing her where we were and what we were doing. LOL My mom and dad think I look like my dad's sister in this pic.

Last week was very busy. My brother and I worked our normal mowing schedule, we also baked a zillion cookies, and then we delivered them all over town. I like baking cookies, but I am glad to have this task behind us.

Wrapping presents is a fun thing at our house. I finally finished wrapping all the ones I had a little bit ago. We do not put NAMES on our presents. We put numbers on each one. Then I make a NUMBER list for everyone and we unwrap those presents that match numbers on the list. It may or may not be your present you unwrap. We have found this is a fun way to spend Christmas morning, and afternoon, and possibly the evening. My mom has a way of wrapping odd gifts, things one doesn't think of as a gift, but in our family IT WORKS. Sometimes I wrap things for myself. The rule is.. if ONE person in our family hasn't seen it, you can wrap it..and put a number on it, and put it under (or around) the tree.

I really like Christmas. My mom was sick on Christmas day in 1988. She spent that day..and several days after thinking she had the flu but she had ME! :) I am named after 2 of my mom's favorite things: 1. Aimée from LITTLE WOMEN,her favorite childhood book. 2. Noelle because she was pregnant with me at Christmas and she loves Christmas.

My name, Aimée, spelled the French way means.. I LOVE, and Noelle...means Christmas. So, my name means I LOVE CHRISTMAS.

I really do love Christmas!!

Aimée Noelle :)

I appreciate how you share your testimony and love for Christ all over your blog. Let your light so shine!

I noticed that you enjoy cross-stitching. I'm a designer and most of the designs feature Bible verses. There is a new free design I think you would enjoy stitching called, "His Name is Jesus".
