Endeavour is UP

We had a full moon tonight.

This is our first view of the shuttle as it lifts off.

We can see it a little better now.

Endeavour on its way to the ISS.
Another successful launch from our corner of the world.

Oh that is soooooo cool that you can actually see the take off. Wow! My brother wants to be a rocket scientist when he grows up and he would absoloutly love seeing an actual takeoff.

So sorry that I haven't commented for a little while. I'm having a little trouble with my google reader, but I think I have figured it out. And hopefully, :) I'll be able to keep up a little better. :)

Cool pictures! I love full moons, and I think it would be awesome to see the shuttle take off.
I found your blog off of another's, and thought I would stop by and say hello! I'll be dropping by frequently. I hope you have a nice day! God bless!

Marie and Morgan,
I have grown up here on the Space Coast. My mother is a first generation rocket watcher, her father worked at the Space Center. My father works at the Space Center, sometimes the launches are routine to me. But they keep me FED, and Clothed, and in reading material :)

Launches at night look like the sun rising very quickly. Sometimes we feel the ground shake if the wind is in our direction. This time we could hear the roar of the crowd from the river.

I really do think they are awesome watch. I have seen several at the Space Center from a viewing place that is 4 miles from the launch pad. That is always loud and thrilling.
