It has been COLD here

We have had a week of chilly temps for Florida. My parents turned on the heater in the house and left it on for the first time since we moved here 11 years ago. Normally, Dad just turns it on once a year to make sure it works. LOL

Dad couldn't find any of his ice scrapers,

and so he used cold water to clean the ice off a couple mornings.

Dad is from Indiana, he should know how to do these things.

I think he has forgotten some....living in Florida for 22 years now.

I hope the 'hard freeze' will kill dollar weeds!

2010

2010 is an exciting year around our house! My mom will turn 50 at the end of the year. She is excited, and decided to have a JUBILEE year. Mom can come up with any reason to 'celebrate' around here.

When we got to the top of the course, we could really

smell some delicious smells coming from the

Chili's next door. We did stop in for dinner there.

It was a fun Jubilee Year January Day.

February 15th is our next scheduled

Jubilee Day...mom has to see her endocrinologist again.

The Enchanted Forest

Todd and I like to take Bear out to the Enchanted Forest when the weather gets cooler. It turned cooler here last week, and we surprised Bear with a trip out to the forest.
